Public Places for Playing Table Tennis (Ping Pong)

Denver Table Tennis Alliance

  • Note: Ten tables combined with open play, small group lessons, clinics and tournaments. 

 

Denver Pong

  • Address: 1559 South Broadway, Denver, CO  

  • Note: Classes are offered for members or non-members.

Pikes Peak Ping Pong Club

  • Address: 401 El Monte, Manitou Springs, CO  

  • Note: Round robins and recreational play held at Manitou High School. 

 

Colorado NorthSide Table Tennis  

  • Address: 900 Via Appia Way, Louisville, CO 80027 

  • Note: A low-cost sports club with Joola tables and recreational ping pong.

How to Play Table Tennis (Ping Pong)

​

To play table tennis, the ball must first bounce on your side (only once) and then on your opponent’s side of the table. 

 

There are no second serves, but if the ball touches the net on a serve and goes over to the opponent’s side, which is called a let, the server retakes their let serve. Doubles serves must go from right court to right court. 

 

Games are played to 11 points and serves alternate every two points.
